“You have cancer.”

Those three words hit like a freight train—deep into the core of your soul. They break something inside, force you to face your mortality, and give you two options: become a warrior or begin planning for the end. I chose war.

By 2015, I was staring down three different cancers at once. No chemo. No radiation. Not again. I’d already gone through that in 2003—lost years of my life to it. The surgery took out misbehaving lymph nodes, but the aftermath of “preventative” treatments brought back the paralysis I’d fought to overcome since a racing wreck in ’95. I spent three years in a wheelchair because of that. So, when the diagnosis hit this time, the answer was clear: full-spectrum cannabis oil. That was my shot.

I’d already seen what Cannabis could do back in 2013 when I was able to shed a handful of pills a day for epilepsy after getting some plant medicine from a roommate who came from Korea – it took 10 days to figure out I’d been ingesting CBD, along with ground up Cannabis. The plant saved me before, and now, I was betting everything on it. I had no choice.

The road became my home. Amtrak rides replaced hospitals. My mission? Give away as much cannabis oil as I could before I was gone, not for money or glory. I was paving my way to Heaven, building a Jacob’s ladder to earn peace of mind. I wasn’t following in Rick Simpson’s footsteps but making my own path. Compassion first, research by necessity. Every life I touched became a page in my living study. Every patient became a data point. I wasn’t just helping—I was learning.

I dove into science headfirst. Academia. PubMed. ResearchGate. I connected with cannabinoid pioneers like Dr. David Bearman for help by phone. I shifted from civil rights lobbying to cannabinoid medicine, built a professional presence on LinkedIn, and started rubbing shoulders with global researchers—while still riding trains with a trunk full of illegal cannabis oil. Little did I know I’d be working at a desk around the corner from old Doc Dave a few years later.

Formulations started rough—”a little of this, some of that.” But quickly, I saw the gaps in the RSO movement. “60 grams in 90 days” wasn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. People needed tailored support. So I learned, adapted, and became a researcher in the trenches—on the ground, working with real people, facing real illnesses.

Then came the call. A child with severe autism and epilepsy needed help. I’d been dodging doctors, labs, and imaging—watching my body waste away—but something told me to go. That’s when Genevieve entered my life. And everything changed.

The Cannabis Love Story began that day—not just because I helped her, but because she helped me survive. My love for this girl and the mission around her gave me the strength to keep fighting. While living with Anne Mari and the girls Genevieve and Sydney, I transformed from a traveling compassion provider to researcher, and in 2018 became a Director under Bearman at The American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine.

Late that year, as the Academy began to move away from investigation and into the mainstream, I created The Global Cannabinoid Research Center (GCRC) in November of that year. I recently merged GCRC into a Nanotechnology entity I have in California and created a mega power entity. It’s also in talks with WMH Farms, which produces the Farm Fresh Genevieve’s Dream and Researcher Brands, on its Nano Terps brand, and more.

I turned my knowledge into something tangible—something sustainable. That’s how Genevieve’s Dream was born.

Now, it’s not just a brand—it’s a movement to help people become aware of their Endocannabinoid System and how necessary it is to keep our bodies operating well in this environment of harm. Chaos and stress are running amuck, leaving most people very worn out and even more unable to sleep.

What’s full circle is how Genevieve’s meeting, her inability to use CBD on its own back in 2016, and the necessity to find a replacement in CBGa and CBG led to the development of ECS Balance far before products or brands were developed—it was purely magical—and all due to Genevieve.

Keeping our ECS Balanced is not just a concept or a product—it’s a way of life. The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is your body’s command center for balance. Stress, inflammation, immune response, and mood all hinge on ECS regulation, and most people’s systems are out of sync.

Constant stress, bad diets, and poor exercise can cause us to chew through our natural endocannabinoids like an engine without oil. That’s why I built formulations to restore balance without forcing people to quit THC or cut ties with the plant they love. Sunshine Dosing, daytime blends, and plant-based adaptogens—that’s our angle. Not restriction. Restoration.
